Some of my dreams were created when I started playing sports in Freshman year. Before ninth grade, I really didn't have any interests besides biology and art. When I started sports, I found something that I was really interested in and had fun doing. I wasn't that bad at it either. Several different doors opened for me when I discovered this hidden interest. I discovered the adrenaline rush of playing a sport. I found a new pathway to college. And I even found a possible career.
I have several dreams. My first and nearest to the present one is my dream to go to CIF for 100 yard backstroke in swim. I want to experience the nervous tension, standing behind the blocks right before the race. I want to feel the adrenaline rush as I finish the last 25 yards. And I want to be the last out of the pool to claim my first place gold medal. Then when I am out of high school, I dream of getting a scholarship to one of the best schools for athletics in the nation. At that college I want to continue swimming and work on my major in health, nutrition, or athletics.
I also have another dream, one closer to home. When I'm older, a lot older, I want to get married. I want to get married to a man who is responsible, confident, respected, and respectful. But I also want to be able to have fun with him. And he absolutely must be active, just like me. I'm not going to marry a lazy bum. I only want to have one child with him. And for the good of the population, I want to adopt two more children because there is already enough kids in the world, there is no reason to make anymore. I think that people should just adopt the ones that already here instead of having six kids of their own. After my kids grow up and go to college, I want to explore and travel the world with my husband. My dream is to go to Europe and Asia. I also want to have enough money to give to charities.
